Wonderful find! Fantastic decor & vibe. Cheery welcoming staff and exceptional service. Thank you Brisley Bell, you were brilliant from beginning to end, a proper relax, unwind & be looked after kind of weekend away. Exactly what we needed! The food was delicious. Top class. We feel so rested & rejuvenated. We can’t wait to come back.

Hi, unfortunately I feel in need to post this review after my very displeasing experience in this place. I went there at about 6p.m to eat and drink something. I was expecting for something pretty okay counting the price but the quality was even less than mediocre: I think I'm not the best at evaluating food but the day earlier I bought some frozen meat at a mall for 1/4 of price and it tasted at least 3 times better. Anyway I wanted to close an eye on it and ordered some beer, hoping that it'd save my evening and let me forget about food. I was so wrong doing that decision, I should've walked away. when I got served my beer, I heard and saw a man probably in early fifties with dark hair and country clothes screaming at some workers, I'm pretty sure it was either the owner or a manager. I can't believe he treated his workers that bad, I got so mad I wanted to just throw my chair in the air along with the table and go away without paying. I can close an eye for food, I could even close an eye about prices, but the is absolutely no way in the world I can accept someone that treats their workers so badly. Of course I didn't even take a sip of my drink, I cleaned my face, delicately got up from the chair, and gave a very direct stare into that man's eyes and as soon as he saw me, no words came out of his mouth anymore. I walked up to him and said:"Thanks for the meal, and I truly hope that you'll get treated the same way you've treated those people". Placed the bill money on a table in front of him and walked away. You have earned my reward as top place where to never ever come back again. Goodbye and never seeing you again. -Gigi Nearby activities: It's completely put in the middle of nowhere, there is nothing to do around and nothing to see, even worse thinking that it's all surrounded by the smell of poop of country roads Safety: No security granted, less than 0 Walkability: Literally impossible to reach by feets, even harder counting that some cars have to park on the side of the road (on grass) since it's a busy country roads and the car park is totally inadequate to accomodate customers Food & drinks: Food is horrible and extremely overpriced, I think that costs so much because of the extra layer of flies sitting on each meal Noteworthy details: Management is even more horrible than I could ever dream to image in my whole life.

Amazing service and really good food. I have a hard time going to restaurants, I often come back home thinking I can do better at home! However this time I was presently surprised, the food was fantastic and the service was pretty amazing too! We had 3 course meal and a few drinks, affordable.

We we're very well looked after during our stay at the Brisley Bell. We stayed two nights as we explored the local area. The food was fantastic and the service made it even more lovely. The rooms were also great, really relaxing. I would have loved somewhere to hang my clothes but didn't take the shine off the stay at all.

In an area with lots of local competition sadly the Brisley Bell didn’t meet our high expectations. We had a Sunday roast and it was just average. My vegetarian roast wasn’t really a roast - it was a goat cheese tart with roast potatoes, carrots and parsnips - overly sweet, no green veg and no gravy. Drinks were overpriced - £5.40 for a pint of Coke. Service wasn’t great - ordered an extra side that was forgotten about and had to wait ages to pay the bill. The location and the pub itself are really beautiful but wish the food was better. Not worth the hype.

Had an amazing stay in a fantastic room at the Brisley Bell, particularly liked the bath in the room, and the open fires in the pub. Fantastic food served by lovely, friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back again.

Had been looking forward to visiting the Brisley Bell for years and finally decided to book a celebration meal there. The setting is incredible- the interior design is amazing. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. But sadly that was all let down by what we were there for - the food. We were expecting something pretty special but found it pretty bland and uninspiring. The cod with new potatoes and broccoli in particular. It appeared to all be boiled with a packet mix sauce.

First time visiting Norfolk for me, so we wanted a nice pub dinner for the evening, and this place seemed to be highly recommended. And with good reason. The Sunday roast that I had was delicious. The beef and the rest of the plate were cooked to perfection. I do recommend you add the extra gravy, though, if you're a northerner like myself. Staff were lovely as well.
